Good Friday

Good Friday | April 10 | 6:15 pm online

Join us live from our Sanctuary where we’ll offer a virtual Tenebrae service using Scripture, music, and the manipulation of light, to journey to the cross together. For an interactive experience from your home, we encourage you to gather the following items:
  • 7 candles (We will begin the service with all candles lit and in a line.)
  • A chalice or cup
  • Praying hands, prayer book, or a picture of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane
  • Handcuffs
  • Broken heart or a rooster/chicken sculpture
  • Crown of thorns
  • Cross
  • White linen
  • Black cloth to cover each item
No need to venture out to find these items. The goal is to use items from home to represent passages in Scripture. Print or draw a picture. Find something that you have in your home that makes sense to you. Gathering these materials or crafting them is a great way to prepare your heart and the hearts of those in your home for service.
