Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday | April 5 | 10 am online

Celebrate Palm Sunday with us online! Palm Sunday commemorates the victorious entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem (Matthew 21:1–9), when palm branches were placed in his path, before his arrest on Holy Thursday and his crucifixion on Good Friday, thus marking the beginning of Holy Week, the final week of Lent.

Grab a branch from your yard or make your own and join us in raising palm branches to honor Jesus. If you need some inspiration, here is a Pinterest board with ideas for DIY Palm Branches for all ages: https://pin.it/56tvF3u.

Our service will guide you through how to do a foot washing in your own home. Before service begins, you’ll want to grab the following household items:

   Large bowl or basin
Pitcher or cup of warm water
   Rag
   Towel

Additionally, we encourage you to get outside today and in various seasons of life and take intentional time to connect with your community. Go on a Prayer Walk through your neighborhood. Click here and read more about this challenge and spend time reflecting on the beauty surrounding you.

Tune in to live stream at 10 am through Facebook or YouTube, or search for St. Lukes on your Roku. You can also catch a replay on our website.
