Beginning in 6th grade, we invite our youth to participate in Confirmation, an "affirmation of baptism", and a mature and public reaffirmation of the faith. We've structured our program to last three academic years where students learn Martin Luther's theology on the Ten Commandments, the Apostles' Creed, the Lord's Prayer, Baptism, Confession, and the Eucharist. At the end of the third year (usually as the student is finishing up 8th grade), they'll be confirmed in front of our congregation. Confirmation classes begin in the Fall.
