Please join your fellow Outdoor Adventure Club members on a hike Saturday, June 3rd at 8 am.

Located on Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, the Hunter Creek Trail is an out-and-back trail with 1,200 feet of elevation gain. It is considered a moderately challenging route. We will find a 30 foot waterfall at the end. Wear sunscreen, be prepared for sun exposure, bring water and snacks, and there will be some “makeshift bridges.”

Trailhead Directions: From downtown Reno, take I-80 and take the North McCarran Boulevard exit. Follow south and make a right on Mayberry Drive. Make a left on Plateau Road to Woodchuck Circle and look for the public parking area, public restrooms and a well-marked sign for the Hunter Creek Trailhead. You can also enter “Hunter Creek Trailhead” into your GPS apps on your phone.

We hope to see you there.
